Are we allowed to celebrate yet?

Something pretty cool to share this week.

I just noticed I’ve had a few copies of my book ordered from the UK and the US.

Only about half a dozen people, but it got me thinking, am I allowed to celebrate yet?

Or do I need to wait for ten copies overseas? A hundred? A thousand?

I wrote my book here in Newcastle, Australia, and somehow a few people on the other side of the world have decided they’d like to read it.

I think that's pretty cool.

While it’s easy to let my mind skip to the next milestone, I’m going to give myself permission to stop for a minute and celebrate this one.

So well done, Matty. Good job mate.

If you’re anything like me, patting yourself on the back doesn’t come naturally, but it isn’t such a bad thing to do from time to time.
