What is Settled?
Settled is an online hub built around the Six Stages from Kill The Chameleon.
Inside, you’ll find a series of short videos and exercises designed to help you step back from the day-to-day and take a closer look at your business, your life and how the two are working together.
Each stage gives you something different to think about - from how well you’re looking after yourself and the clarity you have about what you want, through to how naturally your business fits you, your relationships with others, the way you make progress and how settled you feel with where you are.
You work through it in your own time, using what’s useful and applying it in whatever way makes sense for you.
Is Settled for you?
Settled can help you if:
Your business is going reasonably well, but it takes more out of you than you’d like.
You sometimes find yourself wondering what you actually want from your business or life.
Some parts of the way you work, or the people you work with, don’t really suit you.
You want to keep making progress, but without always pushing yourself harder.
You’d simply like to feel more settled with where you are, while still being excited about what comes next.
What’s inside Settled.
Core Videos - Four core videos for each of the 6 Stages, around 10 minutes each.
Reflective Questions - Simple prompts to help you apply the ideas into your business and life.
Real Conversations - Watch me explore some of the ideas with a client, so you can see the thinking unfold.
Structure with Flexibility - Enough structure to keep you moving, with the freedom to work in a way that suits you.
Practical Takeaways - Bring your insights together into something you can refer back to and use.
Monthly Q&A - An optional session to ask questions, go deeper and hear from others.
You don’t need more to do.
The people who benefit most from Settled are often the same people who feel they don’t have much time to spare.
The point isn’t to give you more to do. It’s to help make some of what you’re already doing feel easier.
So the videos are short, there’s structure when you want it, and flexibility when you don’t.
I’d rather you take one useful idea and make a meaningful difference with it than rush through the whole thing just to finish it.
A few questions you may have.
-
There are four short videos for each stage, most around 10 minutes long, along with some questions and exercises to help you apply the ideas. You can spend as much or as little time on these as feels useful.
-
No. There’s a structure you can follow if that helps, but you’re also free to spend more time on the stages that feel most relevant to you and less on those that don’t.
-
No. Settled is built around the same Six Stages, but everything you need is included in Settled. If you have read the book, Settled gives you an opportunity to explore the ideas more deeply and apply them to your own business and life.
-
You’ll have access to Settled for as long as your monthly subscription remains active. There’s no expiry date or deadline to finish — you can come back to the material whenever you like, and cancel your subscription whenever you choose.
-
Once a month, there’s an optional online Q&A where you can bring along anything that’s come up while working through Settled. It’s a chance to ask questions, explore an idea further and hear what other people are discovering too.
-
Settled is about to open to founding members at $27 per month, with that rate locked in for five years. There’s no lock-in contract and you can cancel whenever you choose.
-
Settled opens four times a year. This helps us keep numbers manageable so we can give you the level of support we’d like to.
